Alloh’s id is the reason why Abraham searched the God
Since young age, before he ascended as a prophet, Abraham was already defying what his father and his brethren has been doing for generations. He was againsts in recognising statue as God. This searching proccess was continued by making the star as Abraham’s God. But after the star was taken over by the moon, so was his god. So his god at the time was the moon. After the moon vanished and the sun took its place then he thought that the sun was the true God. But after the sun was gone he wondered that the one he should praise should be none other than the creator of the moon, stars, and sun himself.
The story of Abraham AS showed the existence of Allooh’s id or the determination in searching for God or the willingness to search for something outside of human’s own existence that had deafeated its own ego completely. Birth trauma is the cause of the appearance of Allooh’s id. And the capitulation of human’s soul towards outside ruler. Those things were shown in Al-A’raf 172-173.
Implementation of Allooh’s id, for those that think, they will come to the conclusion of the being that we should all bowed into or that ruler of human’s soul or that highest truth should be an invisible being that has perfection in all things. He is the one that calls himself as Allooh in the Qur’an.
That is a pivotal revision of Freud’s theory about human’s psychology that contains id, ego and super ego within it. Other than the urge to satiate lusts there is also an urge to search for Allooh (Allooh’s id).
Al – Anam 74 :
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said to his father Azar, “Do you take idols as deities? Indeed, I see you and your people to be in manifest error.”
Al – Anam 75 :
And thus did We show Abraham the realm of the heavens and the earth that he would be among the certain [in faith]
Al – Anam 76 :
So when the night covered him [with darkness], he saw a star. He said, “This is my lord.” But when it set, he said, “I like not those that disappear.”
Al – Anam 77 :
And when he saw the moon rising, he said, “This is my lord.” But when it set, he said, “Unless my Lord guides me, I will surely be among the people gone astray.”
Al – Anam 78 :
And when he saw the sun rising, he said, “This is my lord; this is greater.” But when it set, he said, “O my people, indeed I am free from what you associate with Allah .
Al – Anam 79 :
Indeed, I have turned my face toward He who created the heavens and the earth, inclining toward truth, and I am not of those who associate others with Allah .”
Al A’raf 172-173 :
And [mention] when your Lord took from the children of Adam – from their loins – their descendants and made them testify of themselves, [saying to them], “Am I not your Lord?” They said, “Yes, we have testified.” [This] – lest you should say on the day of Resurrection, “Indeed, we were of this unaware.”
Or [lest] you say, “It was only that our fathers associated [others in worship] with Allah before, and we were but descendants after them. Then would You destroy us for what the falsifiers have done?”
